GIVE YOUR USERS

Powerful Tools

Redux shortcodes brings powerful functionality to the users. Namely, users can recover many URLs and paths from the front-end without ever touching PHP. Every function only uses an attribute called data. Users can pass any of the values denoted below.

[bloginfo]

Will return all values denoted here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/bloginfo, but you can use lowercase letters. It also adds a few corrections/alternatives taken from the suggested functions had on the codex.

Example

[bloginfo data="url"] will output your site’s home url.

[themeinfo]

Will return all values denoted here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_get_theme, but you can use lowercase letters. It also adds a few corrections/alternatives taken from the suggested functions had on the codex.

Example

[themeinfo data="verion"] will output your theme’s version number.

[date]

By default, date will return the current year, in 20xx format. However, you can pass any PHP date string and get the appropriate value. For a full list of features, refer to: http://us1.php.net/manual/en/function.date.php

Example

[date data="l jS \of F Y h:i:s A"] will print something like: Monday 8th of August 2005 03:12:46 PM
